About Netflix
At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Whatever their taste, and no matter where they live, we give our members access to best-in-class TV series, documentaries, feature films, and mobile games. We are the world’s biggest fans of entertainment, and we’re always looking to give members the thrill of the next great story.
About The Role
We are seeking a Manager, Program Management - Design to join the team responsible for program and operational management for the Brand Creative Studio’s Global Brand Design team.
The primary focus of this role is to build, run, and continuously improve the systems that allow core design programs to move from strategy to execution across a complex set of stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables. This includes annual campaign priorities, large global programs, and reactive design initiatives delivered by a multidisciplinary team of designers.
This role is responsible for the operational integrity of core design programs. You will bring structure to ambiguity, drive clarity on scope and sequencing, create reliable planning and tracking mechanisms, and ensure that the right work is being prioritized, staffed, reviewed, and delivered.
You will partner closely with design leadership, brand management, creative studio production, and cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, product design, comms, events, and other business verticals. You will also help establish the working rhythms, engagement models, and collaboration standards that enable designers to focus on craft while still delivering at Netflix speed.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
Build and run core design program pipelines
Own the end-to-end operational pipeline for core design programs, spanning annual planning through tactical delivery and rollout.
Drive clear intake, scoping, prioritization, and sequencing of work across multiple concurrent programs.
Ensure programs have strong foundations: defined objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and decision-making structures.
Lead problem-solving when work goes off-course, ensuring issues are addressed quickly without compromising quality.
Create operational clarity across complexity
Translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans for core design teams.
Establish program rhythms and stakeholder cadences that create momentum and reduce ambiguity.
Maintain consistent visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs across the portfolio.
Build integrated project plans that include milestones, dependencies, review cycles, and launch readiness requirements.
Drive alignment on scope, sequencing, and delivery expectations across internal teams and external partners.
Enable high-quality delivery at scale
Protect design bandwidth by ensuring work is appropriately scoped and resourced before it enters execution.
Partner with design leadership and resource management to align resourcing to priorities, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
Ensure programs are set up to scale across markets, formats, and teams, without creating unnecessary operational burden.
Anticipate bottlenecks and delivery risks early, and proactively propose solutions and tradeoffs.
Tracking + Reporting
Maintain program tracking across multiple workstreams, ensuring teams have clarity on owners, deadlines, and next steps.
Create leadership-ready reporting that communicates progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly and consistently.
Ensure that stakeholders understand what is happening, what is blocked, and what decisions are needed.
Delivery Planning + Implementation
Execution readiness + rollout coordination
Partner closely with cross-functional operational teams to support smooth and coordinated execution across channels
Ensure design deliverables are integrated into broader go-to-market plans and rollout timelines.
Coordinate review cycles, approvals, and handoffs across internal, external, and agency partners.
Asset delivery + cross-functional enablement
Track delivery of required assets across formats, ensuring they are reviewed, approved, and delivered on time.
Ensure downstream teams have what they need to execute (guidelines, toolkits, templates, specs, and delivery packages).
Act as a key liaison between design and partner teams to ensure expectations, timelines, and requirements remain aligned.
Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by improving clarity, handoffs, and program rhythms.
What We Are Looking For
7-10+ years of experience managing complex programs in fast-paced consumer, entertainment, design-focused, or technology environments. Global experience is a bonus.
Proven ability to run end-to-end program management for creative and design teams, including planning, prioritization, tracking, and delivery.
Strong operational judgment and the ability to create clarity in ambiguity.
Deep familiarity with how design work is developed, reviewed, and delivered across multi-format ecosystems (digital, social, print/OOH, presentations, toolkits, and event-related assets).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey progress, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and drive alignment across cross-functional teams, including internal and external partners.
Experience working with program management tools and collaborative workflows, and the ability to implement scalable systems.
A proactive, humble, and highly accountable working style with a strong bias to action.
Operational/program management experience within a design studio or agency environment is a plus.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess high intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate strong judgment in the face of ambiguity.
You understand, advocate for, and embody Netflix’s values and team goals.
